RACCOMBAT progress meeting and stakeholder workshop

Austrian, Bulgarian, Greek, Latvian and Romanian project partners and stakeholders gathered in April 2018 in Antwerp, Belgium for a stakeholder workshop, led and organised by partner Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies UAntwerpen. Experiences were heard from Atlas Antwerpen, Agentschap Integratie en Inburgering, Myria, Unia and many others in the fields of migration and integration. Experts and project partners discussed challenges like motivating non-nationals to take part in social orientation and teaching basics of law and fundamental rights in a multicultural environment. A project progress meeting was also held, as well as a study visit to Atlas Antwerpen where stakeholders from all project partner countries got acquainted with the organisation’s long experience in integration and social orientation of non-nationals.
