RACCOMBAT training in Romania

The RACCOMBAT training in Bucharest, Romania gathered participants from institutions and organisations with competencies in refugees’ and migrants integration in Romania. The seminar started with an overview presentation of the project and continued with topics such as: individual and collective causes for intolerance and discrimination; social orientation and language classes used as strategies to combat racism and xenophobia regarding migrants; creative approaches in combating racism and xenophobia, presentation of RACCOMBAT’s guidelines on incorporating tolerance and mutual respect in language tuition and social orientation of refugees and migrants. Participants discussed the challenges before migrant integration in Romania and better ways for cooperation among concerned institutions and organisations.
