MORE ABOUT CECL
The Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation (CECL) is one from most active Greek (non profit) research institutes.
The Centre aspires to contribute to the promotion of democratic institutions and the welfare state under the rule of law, the deepening of European integration and the strengthening of international cooperation with respect for the cultural identity of each state.
The objective of the Centre is, in specific, to undertake theoretical and applied scientific research in greek, european and comparative public law, institutions and public policies, the provision of institution and capacity building to developing countries and the new member-states of the European Union and the enhancement of public awareness on developments in the european area.
The Centre was founded in 1995 and has, until now, undertaken research and institution building projects in more than 25 countries while it maintains a wide network of collaborating institutions and experts all over the world.
KEY TEAM MEMBERS
Dr. Maria Mousmouti – Expert
Executive Director of the CECL. Co-director of the Sir William Dale Legislative Drafting Clinic, within the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies of the University of London. Lawyer at the Court of First Instance. Has served as Research Associate to the member of the European Parliament Prof. D. Th. Tsatsos. PhD in non –discrimination legislation and legislative drafting, LLM in Social Security, Degree in Law.
Despoina Kontorizou – Project Manager
Despoina Kontorizou is an associate Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. She has a strong research professional with a Master’s degree focused in Education (M.Ed.) from Hellenic Open University. She is CECL’s Project Manager for the RACCOMBAT project.
Antonia Kagia – Financial Manager
Antonia Kagia holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the School of Social Sciences of the Hellenic Open University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with major in Accounting and Finance from the American College of Greece, Deree College. She is member of the Economic Chamber of Greece with B Class Accountant license. She became CECL’s Financial and Administrative Director in 2014 and Quality Manager for ISO 9001:2008 in 2015.
